Kaizer Chiefs have seen a bid for highly-rated left-back Fawaaz Basadien rejected by Stellenbosch FC.
The 27-year-old has developed into one of the leading talents in the league since joining Stellenbosch from Moroka Swallows in July 2022.

As a natural winger developed into a left-back, Basadien fits the profile Chiefs are seeking to bolster their squad but their official bid has been rejected by Stellies who view him as an important part of their squad.
This after the sale of Qobolwakhe Sibande and then Basadien signing a three-year deal in January with the Cape Winelands outfit.
iDiski Times understands Stellies have issued an exorbitant asking price to be met for the consideration of an immediate sale in the current window.
Basadien, who has been on the fringes of recent Bafana Bafana squad selections, has featured 65 times for the club, scoring once, registering 10 assists in the process.
