Kaizer Chiefs coach Khalil Ben Youssef says with a 38-man squad, it’s a major challenge to keep everyone happy, in reference to the absence of Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman.
The two promising attackers were lured to Chiefs in the off-season after the relegation of Cape Town Spurs but after the long protracted legal issues, their debuts were delayed as their clearances were belatedly issued.

While Velebayi, 23, has since had a run in the team and impressed in his first six games, Baartman, 19 has played only 56 minutes and yet to start a game.
Both were not in the matchday squad in the 2-1 loss to Stellenbosch on Tuesday evening, which Ben Youssef says is down to having a huge squad.
“Unfortunately, in football, we can only use 11 players and we have nine substitutes, so if every press conference we discuss about the players who are not in the squad, it’s not the solution,” he said.
“The only solution is if FIFA allowed us to play with 20 players, but we can’t find a solution for this.
“Why Ethan play? Why Ethan don’t play? Why Velebayi play? Why Baartman don’t play – how many players can we use? We have 38 players in the squad.”
Chiefs now turn their attentions to Orlando Pirates, who they host for the sold out Soweto Derby at FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
