Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that attacking midfielder Gaston Sirino will miss their highly anticipated Betway Premiership clash against Mamelodi Sundowns at the weekend.
Sirino will be serving suspension after being shown a red card in their 4-1 thrashing at the hands of SuperSport United last week.

The Uruguayan has been a mainstay for Amakhosi this term, scoring three times and providing a further five assists in 15 outings across all competitions though his progress has also been halted by injuries.
“Chiefs will be without Gaston Sirino in this match after he picked up a red card in Amakhosi’s last match, against SuperSport United,” the club said via its official website.
It remains to be seen who head coach Nasreddine Nabi will look to fill the void in Sirino’s absence.
Sundowns have already had the better of Chiefs this season beating them 2-1 in the first-round league tie before running out 4-0 victors in the Carling Knockout Cup quarterfinals in November 2024.
