Kaizer Chiefs will face Eredivisie side Utrecht during their pre-season tour in the Netherlands, the Dutch side confirmed.
Earlier this month, Amakhosi confirmed they will be traveling to the Netherlands for a pre-season camp between 3 and 19 July.
However, Amakhosi had not announced any of their pre-season opponents, stating they will give further updates. Meanwhile, Utrecht announced their pre-season plans, including a friendly against Chiefs.
“The next opponent will follow on 11 July. The most popular club in South Africa will be the opponent: Kaizer Chiefs. This match will also be played behind closed doors,” the club stated.
Chiefs will return for pre-season training on Friday, with some players only expected to join the group on Monday.
