Chippa United have already started assembling their squad for 2025/26, as they’ve set sights on Richards Bay striker Justice Figuareido.
After assembling a technical team comprised of Sinesipho Mali as Sporting Director and Sinethemba Badela as head coach, this publication has it in good authority that Chippa are in advanced talks with the Natal Rich Boyz for striker Figuareido and they are expected to pay an undisclosed transfer fee.
Personal terms are not expected be the stumbling block in this deal – should the club-to-club agreement be reached then medicals will be expected to take place.
The 26-year-old spent two seasons at Bay and managed to make 52 appearances in all competitions, scoring six times and assisting on three occasions.
The Chilli Boys struggled upfront last season, managing to score 28 goals in 28 games. They lost Elmo Kambindu to AmaZulu in January and recently released Bienvenu Eva Nga and the Eswatini-born marksman has now been identified as a suitable striker for their style of play.
