Kaizer Chiefs coach Fernando Da Cruz has admitted to having “mixed feelings” about his side’s performances in their last two Betway Premiership matches.
Amakhosi were held to consecutive draws, first against Mamelodi Sundowns and then Richards Bay FC.
Da Cruz believes Chiefs should have taken all three points against Sundowns but were punished for mistakes that proved costly.
The Frenchman also feels his side deserved to beat Richards Bay, arguing that the Natal Rich Boyz offered little threat and only managed to score after capitalising on Chiefs’ errors.
“I have two different feelings,” said Da Cruz after the match against Richards Bay.
“I am very disappointed [about mistakes], but also happy about the performances of the team cause we play well.
“But these types of mistakes, we can’t be making them in this type of level.
“We need to learn about our mistakes and to continue working hard to look forward.”
The Phefeni Glamour Boys are next in action against Siwelele on 5 August at FNB Stadium, as they look to return to winning ways having drawn their last two matches.
