Newly-promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Hope FC continue to strengthen their team after confirming the signature of Taahir Goedeman, with Keagan Dolly expected to be the club’s next marquee signing.
After winning their first league game of the season, Hope continue to strengthen their team after securing Goedeman following a long assessment that he has done with the club.
‘Bala’ spent last season on loan at Durban City, but couldn’t get game-time at the KwaZulu-Natal-based side.
His mother club, Cape Town City released him at the end of 2025/26 season, and Hope gave him an opportunity to showcase his talent by going through assessment.

The Immortals seem also set to secure Dolly’s signature in the coming days if things go well with his assessment and they can agree on a deal.
Similar to Goedeman, the 2016 CAF Champions League winner has been going through an assessment at Hope in the past weeks.
The MFC newbies already signed the likes of Miguel Timm and Lyle Lakay, while loaning Kaizer Chiefs youngsters Samkelo Zwane, Naledi Hlongwane, Bontle Molefe and Pheko Phago.
