Every trophy on offer is what Kaizer Chiefs will be targeting for the 2026/27 campaign, according to head coach Fernando Da Cruz.

First stop for Chiefs will be the Toyota Cup against Scottland FC at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Complex on Sunday, 26 July.
Following a trophyless season and just one trophy to show for in the last decade, the Nebank Cup, the French tactician will have his work cut out as he looks to return the once ‘Cup Kings’ to restoring their glory days for their much demanding fans.
In his response to what his targets are for the new term, Da Cruz was not selective, insisting they will look to compete in every single cup competition as well as win every single match they play in.
“We [Chiefs] will play every game to win,” responded Da Cruz.
“The championship [Betway Premiership] is a marathon; you are not able to win it by December or January. But you have to be close to the other [top] teams in March or April.
“There are also the different cups [to compete for] and we want to win every game and every trophy [available].”
