Donn Spotted At PSL Club Ahead Of New Season

Jesse Donn could be heading for a retirement u-turn after being spotted at Siwelele FC alongside another former SuperSport United player, Kamohelo Mahlatsi.

Donn, 26, announced his retirement from football last season after a full campaign without football – having left SuperSport in 2024. He opted to bow out of professional football with a lack of enticing offers forthcoming.

However, sources have confirmed he returned to the club, now rebranded as Siwelele FC after the recent takeover, and has been impressing during pre-season preparations.

SuperSport academy product, Mahlatsi, who went on to play for AmaTuks, Moroka Swallows, Kaizer Chiefs, Chippa United and Marumo Gallants has also been part of their pre-season preperations.

The 26-year-old was regarded as one of the brightest prospects at the club a decade ago, and now at 26, he’ll be aiming to revive his career back in Johannesburg – where the club looks set to be based for the 2025/26 season, while playing some home games in Free State.
