Ex-Burnley Forward Resurfaces At Pirates

Former Burnley striker Tremaine Eastmond is currently being assessed at Orlando Pirates.

The 20-year-old arrived for his training stint at Pirates last week after parting ways with Cape Town Spurs, where he was not in the plans of head coach Ernst Middendorp.

iDiski Times understands he’s been training with the first team with the hopes of landing a deal, as he looks to establish himself in South African football.

Eastmond scored four goals, with four assists in 27 games for the Clarets in the U18 Premier League before stints with Prestwich Heys, Abbey Hey and AFC Blackpool.

Pirates currently have Tshegofatso Mabasa, Evidence Makgopa, Kermit Erasmus, Zakhele Lepasa and Souaibou Marou as central striking options in the senior set-up.
