Kaizer Chiefs have held talks with Swiss striker Rubén del Campo over the past few weeks, as their search for attacking reinforcements continues.
With Chiefs in the market for a striker in January, the Atletico Madrid youth product has been considered, according to sources within the club.

He spent last season in Canada with Atletico Ottawa where he scored 14 goals with three assists in 33 games.
He broke the club record for the most goals in a single campaign and was also a nominee for the league’s Players’ Player of the Season.
The left-footed striker has been capped 26 times for the Switzerland youth national teams and is currently a free agent.
But the 24-year-old also has offers in Denmark, Portugal and Italy, and is yet to make a decision on his future.

Chiefs have scored 14 goals in 11 league games so far, with Nasreddine Nabi continuously confirming he’s keen to add another striker to his options.
Currently, Ranga Chivaviro and Mduduzi Shabalala lead the scoring ranking with four goals, followed by Ashley Du Preez with three strikes. Wandile Duba has two, while the likes of Christian Saile, Pule Mmodi and Tebogo Potsane are yet to score.
