DR Congo international defender Nathan Idumba Fasika is in line for a surprise move away from Chippa United, with a move to North Africa in motion.
Fasika, 26, joined Chippa in the off-season after several outstanding seasons with Cape Town City but is now set to leave the PSL in the coming days.
Sources at the Chilli Boys have confirmed a lucrative offer was tabled by Al Ahly Benghazi which has been accepted and the player is open to the move to the North.
It’s expected to be concluded imminently – with Chippa now looking towards securing a replacement for the towering defender as they look to strengthen their bid to avoid relegation this campaign.
Fasika arrived in South Africa back in 2021 from FC St Eloi Lupopo and spent one season in Norway on loan from the Citizens in 2024.
