Magesi FC head coach Allan Freese was left over the moon after a massive win which saw them move away from the foot of the Betway Premiership standings.
Magesi shocked Durban City 5-2 at the Seshego Stadium on Sunday afternoon, just their fourth league win all season and the first time in their history they had bagged five goals in one match.

The massive win saw them move away from the relegation zone on goal difference, as they sit on 20 points with Marumo Gallants. Orbit College dropped to the bottom of the log, a point behind Gallants and Magesi.
Freese was so happy after the final whistle and came out to say this was their aim, to win the game and move out of the relegation zone.
“That was our aim today, today’s aim was let’s move away from there and we did. So, I’m very happy about that,” Freese told the media.
This win gave Magesi a boost going into the last five games which they play against TS Galaxy, Orbit College, Orlando Pirates, Siwelele FC and Richards Bay.
“It gives us good hope that we are going to the right direction, very good hope that we are going to the right direction.
“So, we should continue working the way we are working,” he added.
