Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler has called on the team to quickly put their MTN8 disappointment behind them as they prepare for a midweek clash against Sekhukhune United.
Amakhosi suffered a setback in the MTN8, but Frosler insists the focus must now shift towards securing a positive result in their next fixture.
“Losing the MTN8 game is not ideal, but we gotta pick ourselves up and move on to the next one,” Frosler said.
“We have Sekhukhune on Wednesday, another chance for us to go out there to do what we need to do to get a positive result.”
Chiefs will then face another major test at the weekend when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns, making the coming fixtures an important opportunity for the team to respond after their cup disappointment.
Frosler revealed that the squad has already addressed the areas that need improvement following the defeat and believes the team must now put those discussions into action on the pitch.
“We have to look forward to Sekhukhune, we have another game on the weekend [against Sundowns], we must do what we need to do as a team,” he added.
“We sat down and discussed what we need to discuss, what we need to improve, what we need to get better at.
“We looking forward not [only] to Wednesday, hopefully we can turn things back to how we want it to be.”
Chiefs take on Babina Noko tomorrow at FNB Stadium (19h30).
