Gallants Coach Raves Over Latest Additions

Marumo Gallants head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has praised the signing of veteran striker Dino Ndlovu as he returns to the Premier Soccer League after a decade abroad.

Ndlovu, 35, started his career at Mamelodi Sundowns and had a loan at the now-defunct Bloemfontein Celtic before moving to Isreal where he was largely successful with Bnei Yehuda and giants Maccabi Haifa.

However, due to contractual disputes he returned to South Africa with loan spells at SuperSport United and Mpumalanga Black Aces before embarking on a nomadic career between Europe and Asia, where he earned multiple lucrative contracts from Cyprus, Azerbaijan, China and Turkey but has now returned home with Gallants.

Former Stellenbosch winger, Obarate Shaun Morgan, 21, has also been promoted to the first-team after excelling in the DStv Diski Challenge squad.

“We are delighted to welcome Dino to the Marumo Gallants family. I’ve watched Obarate play and I believe he’s talented,” Ouaddou said,

“Their experience, skills, and abilities will undoubtedly strengthen our attacking line-up and enhance our chances of success.”

Gallants return to action on Sunday when they travel to Mbombela to take on high-flying TS Galaxy.
