Golden Arrows coach Pitso Dladla believes captain Ayanda Jiyane would have earned a Bafana Bafana call-up for the recent international break had he not been sidelined by injury.
Bafana played three matches during the break, winning all of them under new coach Pitso Mosimane.

Dladla is convinced that Jiyane’s quality and performances would have caught Mosimane’s attention had he been fit and available for selection.
The Arrows skipper returned to action this past weekend against Milford after recovering from injury, but his comeback ended in disappointment as Abafana Bes’thende suffered a 1-0 home defeat.
“We’re happy that our captain is back. He was unfortunate to be absent due to injury when we were playing the significant games that would make him shine,” said Dladla.
“That’s when we were playing the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns and Stellenbosch. That was when the national team coach Pitso Mosimane had just taken reins.
“I think if he was not injured, he was going to be part of the squad that Pitso Mosimane called to the national team.”
Jiyane will be hoping to earn a national team call-up when Bafana take on Kenya in back-to-back AFCON qualifying matches in November.
