With Kaizer Chiefs already having signed six new players, here is how Nasreddine Nabi’s starting XI for their first pre-season friendly could look like.
Chiefs are currently in the Netherlands and will face SBV Vitesse in their first pre-season game on Tuesday.

The club arrived in Europe on Friday and have been putting in the hard hours on the training pitch, and it will be interesting to see how heavy the players’ leg will be in their first games.
Fans will be excited to see some of the club’s new signings in action, after Chiefs added Nkanyiso Shinga, Ethan Chislett, Flavio Silva, Paseko Mako, Thabiso Monyane and Siphesihle Ndlovu, who joined the squad later than the others.
Nabi will have lots of chances to give all his players a chance to impress, with Chiefs facing Vitesse on 8 July, Utrecht 11 July, NEC Nijmegen on 12 July, PEC Zwolle on 15 July and FC Twente on 16 July.
With five games packed into six days, Nabi is destined to rotate, after also adding Manqoba Ozoemena, Kabelo Nkgwesa, Thulani Mabaso and Naledi Hlongwane to their traveling squad.
In his first game, though, Nabi will likely select a mixture of proven first teamers and new signings.
Potential Chiefs’ line-up:
Petersen, Monyane, Miguel, Dortley, Shinga, Cele, Mthethwa, Chislett, Lilepo, Du Preez, Flavio.
