Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen is excited and looking forward to rubbing shoulders with the club’s new signings as well as the DDC graduates ahead of the new term.
Amakhosi are currently in the Netherlands as they sharpen up for the upcoming campaign with four high-profile friendly matches lined-up.
Petersen, who is no stranger to the Netherlands surroundings, having traveled there during his Ajax Cape Town junior days, admitted that his was excited about the new guys and more minutes for the club’s graduates as well.
“Especially, the younger boys. We know most of them. We’ve seen them play and they’ve trained with us a few times,” he said from the Netherlands.
“And really looking forward, excited to see them obviously playing together in the first team.
“And obviously the new guys as well. Exciting signings. Looking forward obviously to the friendlies that we gonna be playing.
“Where people will be able to obviously get the glimpse of them but then I think where supporters will see them is in the Toyota Cup.
“I think a lot of people are excited to watch them play and I think they’re also excited to obviously put their talent and skills on display for our supporters.
“Really looking forward to it.”
