In this week’s iDiski Times digital paper, Kegan Johannes is the latest player to ‘build his perfect PSL footballer’
The Cape Town-born Johannes recently joined Mamelodi Sundowns from SuperSport United, and in a new ’Footballer DNA Feature‘, Johannes looks at which South African players’ key abilities he would meld together to make the ideal player.

In an interesting selection, Johannes picked Bafana Bafana captain Ronwen Williams as the best passer of the ball.
“This one might surprise you or it might not but when it comes to passing ability there is only one name that comes to mind and that is Ronwen Williams,” Johannes told iDiski Times.
“I’ve hardly seen someone with that kind of passing ability.”
And when it comes to dribbling, Johannes selected his former academy teammate, Cape Town Spurs’ ‘diamond’ Asanele Velebayi.
“This one has to go to Asanele Velebayi,” Johannes said
“The way he is able to dribble with such precision and speed is definitely a sight to see!
“Haha, I need to ask him which kind of glue he uses, haha!”
