Sekhukhune United head coach Cedric Kaze says the decision to substitute Mcedi Vandala who came on as substitute was tactical.

The 31-year-old winger was brought on in the 50th minute for Thato Khiba as they looked to change shape and go for a more attacking approach.

But was taken off 20 minutes later for Karabo Tlaka in what came as a surprise to many onlookers in an embarrassing moment for any footballer at any level of the game

“It was a tcatical decion from us, form me and I hope we work it out, the way I wanted him to perform and the impact I wanted from him is not what I wanted to see,” he said when asked by iDiski Times.

Vandala was brought to the club earlier this month in a transfer from AmaZulu – where he spent only six months after being lured to Durban from Magesi.
