Kaizer Chiefs are edging closer to agreeing on a new contract with defender Reeve Frosler for a further three years.
Frosler joined Chiefs in January 2021 from Bidvest Wits after winning the league title in 2016/17 and the league cup in 2017/18 under Gavin Hunt.
The 27-year-old has had ups and downs in his six-year stay at Chiefs, with injuries also playing a part. The former South African junior international has made over 155 appearances in the black and gold and scored two goals.
This publication has gathered intel that Amakhosi are edging closer to reaching an agreement with Frosler on a new contract, with his current one set to expire at the end of this season.

Talks said to be in the final stages with Chiefs offering him a new three-year contract extension with the club already having extended the stay of captain Yusef Maart as his contract was also set to expire at the end of the season.
Frosler could see himself lifting his first-ever trophy in Chiefs colours in the second week of May when they face Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
