Kaizer Chiefs defender Inacio Miguel says a win over Mamelodi Sundowns would be the best response to what transpired last week.
Chiefs come into their weekend fixture against the league leaders at the back of a 4-1 loss to their Tshwane rivals, SuperSport United in a result that came as a surprise to many.
Having shown a convincing display beating Chippa United a few days prior, SuperSport inflicted a heavy defeat on Amakhosi at FNB Stadium.
“A win it would change everything after a bad result like last week, if we come with a win we won’t be thinking about it,” Miguel told iDiski Times at their Toyota team bonding event this week.

“Okay yes we take things game by game of course, but it will give us the confidence we’re looking for after a heavy loss last week. But we are remaining focused on things game by game, for the moment now, we work hard to prepare to face Mamelodi Sundowns, do our best and move forward.”
In the reverse fixture, Chiefs took the lead through Ranga Chivaviro at the Calabash but ended up on the losing side with Lucas Ribeiro Costa and Iqraam Rayners overturning the opener.
The Soweto giants will be aiming to close the gap on the CAF inter-club continental spots, as they now sit in eighth, six points off third placed Sekhukhune United.
