Mamelodi Sundowns defender Aubrey Modiba has revealed how he is helping newly-signed right-back Thabang Matuludi settle in.
The 27-year-old right back joined the Brazilians during this transfer window and made his debut against Al Ahli Saudi in the FIFA African-Asian-Pacific Cup on Saturday.

Matuludi impressed in the second half, providing the assist for Nuno Santos’ winning goal as Sundowns secured their first trophy of the season.
Modiba was delighted to see his fellow Limpopo-born player make an immediate impact. He revealed that they are also roommates, which allows him to offer his new teammate plenty of support as he adjusts to new life at Sundowns.
“You know I’m so happy for him, he came and he’s sharing a room with me,” said Modiba.
“I’m treating him so that he can easily settle in well in the team. He came just last week, so he’s still getting used to how we do things and how we play.
“I was also happy for him that he got an assist today. I’m proud and hopeful that he can help us more going forward.”
Matuludi is also part of the Bafana Bafana squad that will play the AFCON qualifiers against Guinea and Eritrea and an international friendly against Egypt.
