Marumo Gallants head coach Phuti Mohafe has made it clear that they will stick to the club’s philosophy when they face Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership.

The Sundowns versus Gallants clash has been rescheduled for this evening after it was postponed three weeks ago due to the sad passing of Jayden Adams.

Since then, Gallants have played two games and have yet to get maximum points. They opened the season with a goalless draw with Kruger United and a 3-1 loss to Stellenbosch FC.

Ahead of the clash against Sundowns, Mohafe emphasized that Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are a team that plays good football and nothing will change when they face the African Champions.

“The team Marumo Gallants, with my exception, they’ve been doing so great against Mamelodi Sundowns,” Mohafe told the media.

“And I think, with my knowledge of the game, I think we will work hand in glove in terms of that, and the approach should not be the one where we are saying we are going to sit back, but we have to play our normal game.

“Marumo Gallants is a ball-playing team, so we have to pass the ball. We have to rotate the ball.”
