Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has hailed the impact of Gaston Sirino after his fine performance against AmaZulu.
Sirino, 33, joined Amakhosi on a free transfer ahead of the 2024/25 campaign after he was released by Mamelodi Sundowns.

The winger has been instrumental in both of Chiefs’ matches so far, setting up two goals and scoring his first Amakhosi goal against Usuthu.
After his second win in charge of the Glamour Boys, Nabi hailed Sirino for what he adds to the team and also his guidance to young players like Mduduzi Shabalala and Mfundo Vilakazi, explaining he is the quality he wants to add to the team.
“He is one of the greatest examples of age quality and he has a lot of positive impact on the whole team when you think about players like Shabalala, Vilakazi,” he said.
“At some stage we will probably be able to say it was a good deal because he is one of the very serious [players] in terms of his involvement and also in terms of defensive involvement when we see the way he comes back as a defender.
“It’s exactly the same kind of player I would like to get. If you remember I already said I didn’t want to have middle-class players. I want to have top quality players like Sirino.”
Chiefs are back in action on Saturday when they will face table toppers Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium.
