Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi feels that they did not deserve to lose to Cape Town City, but once again failed to use their opportunities.
Chiefs lost 1-0 to City on Sunday, as Muhsin Ertugral made his return to South African football after six years away.
But Nabi, after the match, said he felt it wasn’t a result that was a fair reflection of the game, and had his team used their opportunities better, they should have go a result.
“We feel that it’s not a game that we deserved to lose,” Nabi said after the match.
“Unfortunately, that’s football, because we feel that we had the control of the game, most of the time. We were high, we were pressing well, we were creating opportunities, but we had a lack of good decisions, especially in the last third and especially in the first half.
“Sometimes we take extra touches instead of playing early, sometimes precipitation, playing too early instead of waiting.
“It’s been an issue – one for to score, we have to create a lot of opportunities. But this is football, the only thing we can do is go back and and work.”
