Nabi – What Type Of Player Chiefs Are Missing

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has identified the type of player he would like to have to improve the team.

Chiefs dropped points for the third consecutive match after a 1-1 draw with TS Galaxy on Monday after Ranga Chivaviro scored a late goal for Amakhosi to salvage a point.

Samunkelo Kabini opened the scoring for Galaxy in the first half, while Chiefs missed glorious opportunities. Statically, Chiefs created more chances than any other Betway Premiership side but have not converted much of those chances.

Nabi believes that his Chiefs project needs certain players which type of players to make it work especially in the final third they need players that can shoot and be powerful.

“It’s true that we feel up top we have the same kind of players – players who like to dribble, who like to play short spaces,” Nabi told SuperSportTV after the match.

“But we lack a little bit of power, we lack the type of players who can shoot, who can make decisions.

“We need to get those kind of players in the future. You know the level of Kaizer Chiefs, I want to play the level of Kaizer Chiefs.”

Chiefs only return to action on 29 December when they will host Chippa United at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
