Galaxy came into the game with their confidence up after a four-match unbeaten run, meanwhile, Chiefs wanted to return to winning ways after dropping points in two consecutive matches.

The second half kicked off with Chiefs looking to find that important equalizer but the Galaxy defense remained sold.

A late onslaught on Tape’s goal finally delivered what Chiefs fans had been demanding as Ranga Chivaviro scored in stoppage time for a share of the points. The goal came in the 96th minute.
