Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has explained what has changed for Sibongiseni Mthethwa to see him start the last two games.
Mthethwa, 30, joined the club from Stellenbosch FC ahead of last season, much to the delight of the club’s supporters.
However, he had somewhat failed to live up to expectations in his first campaign and wasn’t featuring in Nabi’s first few games.
But after returning to the starting XI, he has impressed in Chiefs’ last two games, with Nabi explaining the midfielder worked hard to earn his chance.
“I think Ox understands his role,” the Tunisian tactician told journalists.

“We worked on the negative points. Ox has worked hard on the negative points.
“If he has works hard and makes progress, he gets his chance. He had to fight for his chance, same for all players.
“And congratulation for his performance.”
