Sekhukhune United are set to sign Black Leopards striker Bethuel Muzeu as a free agent after they got relegated to amateur football last season.
iDiski Times can confirm that Babina Noko look set to secure the signature of Muzeu on a three-year contract plus a two-year option at the end of June.
The Namibian international will play his football in South African topflight for the first time since moving to Mzansi after being snapped up by Lidoda Duvha from Tura Magic in 2022.
After Leopards got relegated to the third division (ABC Motsepe League), Muzeu became free agent, and Babina Noko immediately jumped to secure his signature with the likes of AmaZulu and TS Galaxy also showing interest in the player’s services.
The 26-year-old has proved to be a goalscorer in the past few seasons in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after netting 36 goals in the last three seasons.
This is the first signing for Babina Noko ahead of the new season. They are yet to appoint the new head coach with former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Cedric Kaze leading race to takeover.
