ODG Explains Magesi Turnaround

Magesi FC head coach Owen Da Gama has explained the side’s turn around saying it boils to hunger and good tactics.

Dikwena Tṧa Meetse recorded their second successive league win by narrowly defeating Polokwane City 1-0 in the Limpopo derby on Tuesday evening. They also got a second clean sheet however remained in 15th place on the log with 14 points in 17 matches.

Da Gama’s charges have also eased their relegation woes having moved within a point of 14th-placed Marumo Gallants with the former Highlands Park mentor crediting his players for their resilience and hard work.

“I think it’s just a culmination of hard work and tactical acumen,” said Da Gama.

“I think we approached both games very solid and we made sure we understand their strength and their weaknesses as well and I think we capitalised on them.
