Magesi FC new head coach Owen Da Gama has highlighted the importance of getting experienced players Kgaugelo Sekgota and Gift Motupa back to their best as they fight to avoid relegation.
Following his appointment as the new head coach, Da Gama has already identified that he will need senior players to step up for the big mission to survive the relegation.
Da Gama finds Dikwena Tsa Meetse rooted at the bottom of the table and currently winless in four matches. Magesi recently did the unthinkable when they won the Carling Knockout Cup, but the cup fever seems to have hit them hard ever since.
The former Highlands Park mentor specifically mentioned Motupa and Sekgotha as the key players he will need and also mentioned that he will be at the club until the end of the season.
“Been talking with the club for a week and big mission is to get seniors players like KG and Motupa right. We need their experience and quality,” Da Gama told the media.
