Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed Ranga Chivaviro will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of this month.
Chivaviro, 32, was one of the marquee signings two seasons ago after he hit 17 goals for Marumo Gallants and helped them reach the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

However, his stay at Chiefs has not gone according to plan, and departs after his option on his contract was not taken up for a one-year renewal.
With nine goals and one assist in 45 games, the club’s technical team advised management to look for a replacement for the 2025/26 season as they look to rebuild the strike force with new arrivals.
“Kaizer Chiefs will not be extending striker Ranga Chivaviro’s contract when it expires at the end of the month,” read the statement from Amakhosi on Wednesday afternoon.
“We thank Ranga for his positive contribution to the team and wish him all the best in his future exploits.”
