Chippa United have confirmed the signing of exciting winger Aphelele Teto from Scottish club Livingston ahead of the new season.
Teto, 21, has been unable to play for the club’s senior team due to his ineligibility for a work permit in the country due to not receiving senior or youth caps for South Africa.
It’s been a tumultuous journey for the talented player who was allowed to move to Europe without a transfer fee, with hopes that he would excel and move on to greater heights with the Rockets holding a sell-on fee percentage.
However, with his paperwork issues not resolved, Chippa have lured him to the club for a season-long loan ahead of the 2024/25 season, arriving with another exciting wide man, Giovanni Philander.
The club confirmed his official signing on Sunday morning, as first reported by this website last week.
