Official: Sekhukhune Confirm Latest Exit

Betway Premiership outfit Sekhukhune United have gone separate ways with Pogiso Mahlangu after four years at the club.

Mahlangu, 33, joined Babina Noko in July 2021 from Pretoria Callies going on to feature 68 times, scoring six goals with a single assist.

Mahlangu becomes the eighth player Sekhukhune have parted ways with after Loydt Kazapua, Kamohelo Sithole, Miguel Antonio Dias, Alves Ngakosso and Lindokuhle Mtshali while Katlego Otladisa returned to Orlando Pirates after his loan stint ended and Sipho Mbule was snapped up by the Buccaneers.

“Today, the Babina Noko family bids farewell to one of our loyal players, Pogiso Mahlangu, who wore our colours with pride since 1 July 2021.

“From fighting in the Nedbank Cup final, to helping us reach the continental stage, Pogiso’s hard work and dedication will always be remembered.

“We thank you, Mahlangu, for your service, your fight, and your loyalty.

“You leave with our respect and best wishes for the future.”
