AmaZulu FC have announced the signing of former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu on a free transfer.
Zungu, 32, has been without a club since parting ways with Masandawana upon the expiration of his contract on 30 June 2024.
The forgotten Bafana Bafana midfield hardman was due to pen a contract with Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca where he wasd set to reunite with his former mentor from Chloorkop, Rulani Mokwena, but the two parties failed to agree on terms.
On Monday evening however, Usuthu announced the signing of Zungu on a permanent deal with the player expressing his delight at joining the KwaZulu-Natal-based outfit.
