Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has admitted to making a tactical mistake which could’ve cost his team the game in Saturday’s Soweto Derby.
The Buccaneers opened the scoring after 23 minutes via Yanela Mbuthuma, but Chiefs equalised just six minutes later via Pule Mmodi.

Amakhosi had several other chances and were dominant in the first half, with Ouaddou admitting he got his tactical setup wrong in the first half.
“I tried to surprise the opponent, making some tactical choice that were not spot on. I think coach Ouaddou put in trouble his team in the first half,” he said after the match.
“I could have cost the game but sometimes you have to be honest to see it.
“But thanks God we came at the half-time with 1-1. It was time make some tactical adjustment, we changed some players as well.”
