Orlando Pirates and Richards Bay have announced their starting XIs for tonight’s Betway Premiership clash.
The Buccaneers could write history and start with seven straight wins for the first time into a PSL campaign should they beat the Natal Rich Boys tonight.
Jose Riveiro’s men have celebrated a perfect start to the 2024/25 league campaign so far, winning six games, while scoring 12 times and only conceding twice.
Bay, meanwhile, find themselves in 12th position with just five points from six games, having scored just one goal so far, while conceding four.
They did, though, celebrate a 5-4 spot-kick win over Cape Town City in the Carling Knockout and will carry that confidence into today’s clash.
They do have a good head-to-head record against the Buccaneers, beating them twice in three clashes last season. However, earlier in the campaign Pirates collected a hard-fought 1-0 win in KZN thanks to a late strike by Kabelo Dlamini.
