Orlando Pirates are on the verge of going separate ways with midfielder Miguel Timm after a successful three seasons with the club.
Timm is a player that can be described as a late bloomer after completing a move to Pirates at the beginning of 2022/23 season following a great campaign with TTM who then became Marumo Gallants.
The 33-year-old fitted like a glove in his first season at Pirates making 33 appearances in all competitions, winning the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup.
The following season, he made 30 appearances and successfully helped Pirates defend the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup, finishing as runners-up in the league and qualifying for the CAF Champions League.
Things went from good to bad for Timm as he suffered injures throughout the 2024/25 season and managed to make just 50 minutes and couldn’t play a big role in helping the club compete in five competitions.
This publication has gathered that Pirates are not planning to renew the player’s contract at the end of the season as his current one is set to expire, as first called by SABC Sport.
There are already teams said to have lined up for him, which includes his former team Gallants who believes he can play a huge role, but nothing has been formalized yet.
