Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC have announced their starting XIs ahead of Sunday’s clash at Orlando Stadium.
The Buccaneers enter the game on the back of their 3-1 win over Golden Arrows, which ended three-game losing streak last weekend.
A win today could see Jose Riveiro’s side climb into fourth place on the log with 25 points, and past their Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs.
However, out of their last four home games, they’ve only won one – last week’s clash with Arrows thanks to two injury-time goals.
Stellenbosch, meanwhile, are desperate for a win after an eight-match winless run has seen them drop to 14th on the log, level on just 17 points with Swallows who sit in the relegation/promotion playoff spot.
Steve Barker’s side have only won one of their eight away games this season, but also only lost two, picking up five draws on the road.
Pirates are unbeaten in six games against the Winelands-based side, picking up two wins and four draws.
Here is how they line up:
Pirates XI: Chaine, Shandu, Xoki, Sibisi, Maela, Monare, Ndlondlo, Hotto, Dlamini, Saleng, Erasmus.
Subs: Mpontshane, Martin, Mako, Motshwari, Mosele, Pule, Dzvukamanja, Makgopa, Mabena.
Stellies XI: tbc.
