Orlando Pirates will face another Spanish side during their pre-season camp in Europe, after Granada confirmed they will take on the Buccaneers.
Jose Riveiro’s men were held to a 2-2 draw by Wayne Rooney’s English Championship side Plymouth Argyle on Friday evening.
They continue their pre-season friendlies with a highly-anticipated clash against seven-time Europa League champions Sevilla on Monday, July 15.
The third friendly match, which Pirates had confirmed before leaving for Spain, is the game against Qatar Stars League side Al Sadd on July 19.

However, the Sea Robbers must’ve squeezed in another friendly match, as Granada confirmed they will face Pirates on 17 July at the Banús Football Center.
It will make it three games in just four days for the Buccaneers in Spain next week.
Granada spent four of the last five season’s in the Spanish top flight, but were relegated from LALIGA at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
