The promotion play-off draw took placed on Tuesday after the two Motsepe Foundation Championship clubs were confirmed.
Magesi won direct promotion to the DStv Premiership, while second-placed Tuks University and third-placed Baroka will head into the playoffs.
They will face the 15th-placed team from the DStv Premiership, which is currently Richards Bay. The Natal Richboyz would need to beat second-placed Stellenbosch FC and hope Royal AM lose to Moroka Swallows to still avoid the playoffs and send MaMkhize’s club instead.
On Tuesday, the draw determined the playoff fixtures, with the DStv Premiership listed as “Club 1”.
Meanwhile, Baroka were drawn as “Club 2”, while AmaTuks were drawn as “Club 3”.
