Kaizer Chiefs forward Wandile Duba has fired back at TS Galaxy following their 3-0 Carling Knockout Cup victory at FNB Stadium, putting an end to weeks of pre-match banter from their opponents.
The 22-year-old put on a masterclass, netting a brilliant hat-trick to propel Amakhosi past the Rockets.

Duba admitted that silencing the opposition’s taunts was a massive motivator, pointing out that TS Galaxy were nowhere to be found when it mattered most on the pitch.
“These ones disrespected us a lot in the social media for the past two weeks,” said Duba on SuperSport TV.
“We knew today that we had to win this game. The donkeys made them run today and they were nowhere to be seen.”
The Soweto giants now await the draw for their next round as they chase more silverware, having last tasted trophy success in the 2024/25 season.
Chiefs now turn their attention to a massive Betway Premiership Soweto Derby against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, set for Saturday, 31 October, at FNB Stadium.
