Jwaneng Galaxy coach Morena Ramoreboli says that new Marumo Gallants signing Daniel Msendami can be as top as countryman Khama Billiat.
Msendami joined PSL returnees Gallants last week after helping Jwaneng to a double that included a successful defense of the Botswana Premier League and the Orange FA Cup. The winger played 28 matches last season scoring 12 goals and had 16 assists to his name.
His former coach likened the 23-year-old to the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs man and speaking to iDiski Times senior writer Velile Mnyandu in edition 161 of the newspaper, Ramoreboli also said the player needs a good environment and good coaching for that to happen.
“I’m very proud of that boy,” Ramoreboli told iDiski Times.
“I think one would say we took a risk. We signed him as a small boy, and he did well. He pushed. One thing very good about him is he loves football, and he’s a hard worker. So I believe that any decision that he makes should always give him an opportunity to grow.
“I believe that if he can go into an environment where he will be coached, where he will be protected, he is going to be one of the best players. I regard him as the next Khama Billiat. He is a top, top talent.”
