TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic admits he’s flattered by the glowing endorsement he received from Bernard Parker.
Parker recently stated in an interview with Football Conversations that the Bosnian mentor has the capabilities of managing Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
His main reasoning behind his opinion was due to the mental strength that he’s been able to instil at the Rockets, who are performing beyond expectations this season.
His side were widely tipped as relegation favourites after losing eight first-team players in the off-season and mostly replaced with DStv Diski Challenge graduates, talent from the Motsepe Foundation Championship and relegated sides.
“It’s always nice to hear this because yes we try, everyone wants to do their best, all of us are trying to have success, and it [is] just great to hear from a fantastic player like Parker, who had many coaches, a lot of experiences,” Ramovic told iDiski Times.
“It’s always nice – everyone likes to receive praise, but as you know business is tough, and you have to show every day your best, that goes for every player and coach, we have to work hard for our goals, we have to improve, which includes me too.
“I just try every day my best, and hopefully we can win something or be in the top eight spot because this will be [a success for Galaxy] like Sundowns winning the league.”
Galaxy return to league action on Wednesday against Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium (19h30).
