The Royal AM saga has caused inconvenience to all teams that were yet to play against the KwaZulu Natal-based side.
With Pirates being one of the teams they are currently three games behind league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. This comes after their match against Golden Arrows was postponed due to bad weather conditions on the day and the new date is yet to be communicated.
Riveiro showed sympathy to Royal AM players and hoped that this issue would be resolved, and also mentioned that it’s inconveniencing them.
“It’s a topic but it’s difficult to make any comment from my side, there’s a little bit of uncertainty around what’s gonna happen to those group of players,” Riveiro told the media.
“I wish that they can find the best solution for them in the end because we talking about people who trying to do their job and work but for me, it’s difficult to answer your question like I said before to your colleague [I’d] wish now we can be all in the same number of games without these types of inconveniences.

“But these things sometimes happen in the competition we have to accept it [and] do not spend so much time thinking about things that are not gonna happen anymore.
“Just try to look at the next game, the next game as far it looks it’s going to be Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein on Saturday and again another final for us to prepare.”
