Sekhukhune & Sundowns Starting XIs Announced

Sekhukhune United and Mamelodi Sundowns have announced their starting line-ups for tonight’s clash at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Sundowns enter the tie after their rousing 4-1 win over TS Galaxy – just 11 days after losing to the same opponents, while Babina Noko won their last two matches against AmaZulu and Chippa United.

Sekhukhune currently sit in third place, which make rumours that Lehlohonolo Seema’s future at the club being doubt all the more flabbergasting.

With a win, they could cement that third spot on the log, while a loss would allow Stellenbosch FC, who will have two games in hand and sit four points behind Seema’s side a chance to overtake them in future.

Sundowns, meanwhile, are currently 12 points ahead of title rivals Orlando Pirates, who have played three games less – four after tonight’s match.

They have won 16 of their 18 league games this season so far, scoring 42 goals while conceding just nine.

On paper, today’s clash with Sekhukhune will be another tough test, but Masandawana have won the last four direct duels with Babina Noko. In fact, Sundowns have never lost to Sekhukhune, winning six of their seven match-ups, while just one ended in a draw.
