Stellenbosch will be without key defender Thabo Moloisane when they take on Orlando Pirates, a major fixture in the context of the Betway Premiership title race.
Pirates are currently five points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns with their game in hand set for Athlone Stadium on Tuesday against Stellies.
While the eligibility of Tshegofatso Mabasa is a miss for head coach Gavin Hunt, Moloisane, a cornerstone of their defence is ruled out due to suspension.
Olisa Ndah will likely be partnered by Henric Stanic or Athenkosi Mcaba – with Mosa Lebusa’s availability also in question, having missed the last three games.
Meanwhile, Golden Arrows are without Junior Dion and AmaZulu without Liam Bern – for their KwaZulu-Natal derby in mid-week.
Relegation-threatened ORBIT College have Ndumiso Ngiba and Thuso Moleleki out with suspension when they take on Magesi in a potential six pointer – while Sekhukhune United, up against Chippa United have key forward Keletso Makgalwa ruled out.
