Mamelodi Sundowns have officially parted ways with Portuguese midfielder Miguel Reisinho after just one season at the club.
The 27-year-old was lured to Chloorkop alongside playmaker Nuno Santos shortly after the start of the 2025/26 season and arrived with major expectations as a highly regarded technical midfielder in Liga Portugal.

However, unlike Santos, he failed to settle and break into the starting line-up as a regular, with a red card minutes into his debut for the club – setting the tone for an indifferent spell at Masandawana.
He went on to make 14 appearances, scoring two goals, with one assist and struggle to dislodge the likes of Teboho Mokoena, Marcelo Allende and the late Jayden Adams under head coach Miguel Cardoso.
Sundowns have now confirmed his exit, with the two parties agreeing a mutual termination of his services before the end of his contract which was due to expire at the end of the current season.
