The 2025/26 Betway Premiership fixtures have been released, with Chippa United hosting champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the opening game at Buffalo City Stadium.
AmaZulu and newly promoted Orbit College kick off at the same time at Moses Mabhida on Saturday, 9 August – along with Polokwane City and Magesi at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium – and Richards Bay vs Marumo Gallants at uMhlanthuze Sports Complex.
Orlando Pirates will host Sekhukhune United ar Orlando Stadium on the same day at 17h30, before Siwelele FC and Golden Arrows end off the day at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 20h00.
On Sunday, TS Galaxy kick off their campaign against Motsepe Fondation Championship title winners, Durban City, led by four-time league winner Gavin Hunt at Mbombela Stadium at 15h00.
And the final match of the opening round is Stellenbosch up against Kaizer Chiefs at Athlone Stadium ay 17h30, for a major fixture for the Mother City.
